About the author

David Hailstone is a pseudonym for an American husband-wife writing team who have
lived in Europe for the past fifteen years. He
is a military veteran who experienced combat. He is presently teaching physics and
mathematics in an American school abroad. She is a writer.
SIX FACES is based on facts
collected by interviewing military personnel who helped in the liberation of Kuwait,
civilians who lived and worked in Kuwait City for several years before the war, and an
acquaintance of the author who actually made a fortune playing the percentages in private
craps games. Some of his winning combinations are mathematically explained in the novel.
